Question
Hi there,
I have a small plastic heart shaped box..was jus' thinking if I cud stick beads upon it and make a small jewel box. if so is there anything that I have to do to make the beads stick properly (i.e whether I have to prepare the base appropriately) and do I have to finish it with a matte sealer? appreciate your reply.

Answer
Well this is not generally in my realm of knowledge but I have seen something similar done.

There is a product made just for what you want to do.

you can see them here:

You cover it with the red liner tape or an adhesive and you coat the item in Micro Beads.

I first saw them demonstrated on a writing pen at a show in 1998.  They really stick well to the tape.  You can make some really intricate designs with them too if you get creative.

Hope this helps!
