Question When doing bead work on clothing as the glamours ladies wore in the 1940's. What type of thread and beads should be used to accomplish this beauty. All help and information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and have a blessed day.

Answer I would think it has to do with the type of beads you are using. IF the beads have sharp edges, then I would use the newer thread that is better for sharp beads. It's actually a fishing line made from a spectra fiber and not a monofilament. Power Pro or Fireline. If not then you can use any nylon thread. I would not use cotton as it rots.
