Question This references the question asked before, I found it because I have been looking everywhere for an solution to my problem and that is the closest I have come to an answer. I also cannot get my knots close enough and at least 1/4 of an inch shows. The closures are the type that you are supposed to make a knot in, pull tightly and its done. One is a magnet closure the other is a barrel clasp, both with no loops but with an insert for the knots. I can't get the know inside that tiny hole although I get it right up to the opening. Any suggestions?? This is driving me crazy!!!!!
Thank you for any advice you can give,
Terri
Answer Well that is a problem I have not really come up against. I don't use barrel clasps, as I have lost many things made with them. I have found magnets to have an equal tendency to come apart without being noticed. I guess if you really want to get that knot into that hole, then I would try to slide it down a needle or an awl. If that doesn't work, you could put a head in into each side and then turn a loop or wrap a loop to attach your necklace to.
I hope something here helped you.
