Beadwork/permission to use design

Question
I love your book "Polymer Clay Jewelry"  I have had a lot of fun trying some of the techniques and designs.  I have made several using variations of the face pin design. I bead around the face and make it into a necklace or pin. I am considering entering a beading contest using one of these. The contest rules state that you need written permission if you are going to use someone else's design.  I have varied the design somewhat, but would like you permission to use it. I cannot figure out how th email you a photo on this link, but would be glad to forward on to you if I have an email address.  Thanks for your attention to this.  Betty Stephan

Answer
Dear Betty - You have my permission to use the design.  Good luck with the contest!  Let me know if you need something more formal than this.  I can either email you or slip something in the mail.

I am glad you are enjoying the book.  That you have varied the design is certainly in the spirit of my intention.  I love that you have added beadwork to it.  Please send me a photo.  You can email me at: nbananto@gmail.com.  Put "design" in the subject bar.  I look forward to hearing from you again -
