Question I have a 3 year old female beagle and am getting a tiny Chorkie (1/2 Chihuahua, 1/2 Yorkie) that will grow to about 4 lbs. Are there any precautions I should take? My beagle is very energetic, but she also loves attention and I'm afraid she might get jealous of a new puppy.

All I can say is to give them both the exact same amount of love and attention, and everything should be fine. Whatever you do, don't pay any extra attention to the Chorkie jsut because he is a new member, because that will really make your beagle jealous. And when a dog gets really jealous they could take a change in behavour and even start being bad, that way he'll get attention..for example he may tear open a couch or rip down your curtains. So jsut remember to give off the same amount of love and attention to both dogs nad things should work out fine!
