Question
How do I go about finding buyers to pay top dollar for retired beanie babies?  For example, I have Lizzy the lizard in perfect condition and it is listed at $740. ( I also have a Lizzy the lizard with a Goldie the goldfish tag on it.  I bought it that way.) Is it worth anything?  I have others that are listed as well.  I even have Pinchers and Blackie which are two of the original first nine, I believe.  Thanks

Answer
Hi how are you? I had to do some research on your question. Lizzy the lizard if from 1995,(blue) is worth $15.00-$30.00 in today's resellable market. Tie-died Lizzy $100.00-$150.00. If you have this one from 1995, It is best to get it authenticated. Pincers, if born 1993 and has the hang tag, $15.00-$30.00, newer generations(yellow star on hang tag) $10-$15.And Goldie If early generation $40-$60. If Hangtag error, Even more because a lot of people collect oddities.I hope this helps. Jen

I have been collecting beanie baby bears for about 10 years now and I am very interested how the phenomenon of collecting is getting popular again. I have over 200 bears and would like to help people figure out authenticity and values in the market today and connect with other bear lovers.
