Question

Brownie/Cubbie?
I am sending picture of 2 cubbie/brownie?  beanie babies that I have Can you idenitfy which ones they are?  Unfortunately no hang tag on either, the first one has a 1st gen tush tag, and the second has a 3rd gen tush tag.  After you I.d. them, can you tell me the value of each??  Thank you

Answer
Hi Susan! I will try to help as much as I can. It is impossible to tell Brownie and Cubbie apart without the hang tag. Your Bear with the ist generation tush would have had a 1st 2nd or third generation hang tag. For Cubbie, he would be worth between $60-$2700 right now. Without  a tag, maybe half or less. For Brownie, who was issued and retired in 93,he would only have a first generation hangtag and be worth $2800.00 book value.Without the tag less at least half because of the importance of the tag. Its hard to say which bear he is.But they both sound like they could be valuable. Yuo could send it away to a beanie authenticator to maybe find out more. Thanks!
