Question
Hello, I recently bought a BD from petsmart about a monuth or so ago. Ive noticed some unusal things and have been told many lies. At one point my BD was under the wrong kind of UVB Bulb for 2 weeks, I was told it was great: Repti Glo 10.0 coil bulb. LIttle did I no it did nothing ! At this time I returned that and got a MVB Bulb Exo Terra 125w for him. He has not gained much weight nor has he grew when I got him he was about 7inchs now is 11inchs. His age is 3monuths hes a Yellow/Orange Morph. His Substrate is Repti Carpet: Temps are 100-110F 10-30 Humidity. He gets 15-20 crickets in the am and always gets Veggies but Ive noticed little womr like things in his poop is that bad for him and how can it be handeled right now untill im able to get a Vet if needed?

Answer
Hello, commonly used bulbs for heat source is the sunglow bulbs. There are others that work fine. If he is now active, eating, and has no behavior change then I would say he is fine. If the worm like things look completely white and are in the droppings, it isn't a worm. Small white pieces in their poop is a type of acid that is somewhat like the urine in humans. If it is really a worm then you may need to wait to call your local reptile vet. If you need further help from me you can send me a picture of the worm type object, if that is what it is.
