Bearded Dragons/Blocked Nostrils in Bearded Dragon

Question
Hi, we took our 18 month old female dragon to the vets yesterday as we thought she may have an URI (she had mouth open constantly and exhaling/puffing out sometimes, no mucus though). She has been given Baytril but this morning we have noticed that her nostrils look blocked with what looks like skin. Should we try to remove this or leave it as there appears to be varying opinions on forums. If we should try to remove it how would we do this?
Many Thanks

Answer
Hello, I have noticed this during shedding. If the old skin is actually causing your dragon trouble, it should be removed. Usually the skin will just fall off without any problems. It is not the best idea to remove it. Just let it be and it should fall right off. Good luck!
