Question
I recently purchased a bearded dragon and have been looking at dietary needs. I noticed worms of various types are acceptable and I wanted to know are catawba worms an acceptable diet source. I have a tree in my yard that in a few weeks will be covered with them. Any information on this will be appreciated

Answer
Hello, I have never heard of people feeding their bearded dragons those types of worms. Even if they aren't harmful, they can still carry diseases. Any outside insect can carry a disease which can affect your bearded dragon. Avoid them all unless provided by a breeder or local pet store.
