Question
I am trying real hard to see a clip from the beatles last performance on ed sullivan.  I think it was 1968.  they sang revolution and i think one other song. I don't remember.  I want to show my daughter.

Answer
Hi Christy!

Well, the Beatles had a long history of appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. I think though, that the one you're thinking about was actually the David Frost Show, September 8, 1968. On that program, they performed "Revolution" and "Hey Jude". Here are YouTube links to both performances:

Revolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J0X__Z81EA

Hey Jude: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zg8bUjxYT08&feature=related

The final appearance that the Beatles made on the Ed Sullivan show was on February 15,1970. They performed "Let It Be" and "Two Of Us". Both of those were clips sent in to the Sullivan show for broadcast. The Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show a total of nine times, but only one of those performances were actually at the Ed Sullivan Theater, on February 9,1964. All of their other appearances were either live from another location or sent in on tape. Here is a link to the video that they sent in for that final "appearance" on the Sullivan show, both being used in their film "Let It Be":

Enjoy the clips and thanks for the question!
