Hi, I'm trying to get some information on a 1978 release by Capitol of Kom, Gib Mir Deine Hand/Sie Libbt Disch. It's a 12 inch clear vinyl Promotion single AS 444. Does it exist or is it a bootleg? Thanks Rob

Hi Rob!

Yes, it does exist and no, it's not a bootleg. There are actually three variations of this 12" single. One in red vinyl, one in orange and one in clear with a swirl going through it. I've held the red one in my hand before, but the other two I've only seen photos of. I tried finding a picture of the clear one online but came up with nothing. I did, however, find a picture of the orange vinyl release (B side). You can view it here:

I did find a few people selling the clear one, though. If you're interested in purchasing it, let me know and I'll be happy to send you the links. Currently, it seems to be around $180. In 1978, Capitol really got into releasing things on colored vinyl, for example, "The Beatles" (aka the White Album) was released on purple and also white vinyl in '78. Thanks for your question...
