I read somewhere that Paul and Julian had a very strong bond and that Julian Lennon also said that he was closer to Paul then to John. I havent found any interviews, articles on this matter could you please explain and give me proof?

Dear Sara,

Paul and Julian had a great relationship especially from 1965 to 1969, the years of the broken marriage between John and Cynthia. As you can imagine John was busy with this matter and little Julian needed love and attention which Paul gave with no hesitation. Paul loves and loved children. The great proof of this relation can be found in the song "hey Jude" written in 1968 by Paul which is dedicated to Julian, infact the original title was "hey Jules". This song was written to comfort John Lennon's son Julian during his parents' divorce.
