Beatles, The/Value of Four Beatles Albums?
Expert: Pattie - 11/1/2008
QuestionI would much appreciate any help you would give me on the worth of three Beatles alums that I have.
1) Beatles For Sale. Parlophone Stereo PCS3062 purchase in England never played. Mint Condition. Sleeve/Jacket never touched still in plastic jacket.
2)With The Beatles. Parlophone Stereo PCS3045 purchased in England never played. Mint Condition. Sleeve/Jacket never touched still in plastic jacket.
3)With The Beatles. Parlophone Stereo PCSO 3045 purchased in the US. Has been played a little but in VG condition. Sleeve and Jacket VG condition.
4)Introducing the Beatles. Vee Jay SR1062 Good Condition but I think it might be a fake. No shadow on George and cover looks a little washed out.
Thank you very much,
Brad
AnswerHi Brad!
Well, you've got some nice vinyl there! Let me go down the list for you. It's hard to grade 100% without seeing them, but I can give you a good idea of their worth.
1) Beatles For Sale. If you have a sealed original stereo LP, the current value is roughly about $80-$100.
2) With The Beatles. A sealed STEREO recording of this LP is currently about $250 although I've seen it go as high as $325 recently.
3) With The Beatles. An opened STEREO recording of this LP is currently about $150 in mint condition. Check yours for any sign of scratches or scuffs and deduct about $20 per scratch!
4) Introducing The Beatles. Yeah, if there's no shadow to the right of George, you've got a fake for sure, and this LP was counterfeited more times than any album in history! Not worth much really...about $20.
I sure hope this helped and thanks for the question!
Peace,
Pattie
