Beatles, The/Album cover misprint

Question
On the Beatles early vinyl release, Introducing...THE BEATLES, VeeJay Records SR 1062, side one lists Love Me Do in the 6-slot while side two lists P.S.I Love You in the 1-slot. These songs do not appear on this album. This is shown on the cover and on the LP. My question is, was this known to be widespread or of limited issue?
Thank you.

Answer
Your question definitely intrigued me, and I got out my own copy of the album to investigate.  And yes, those songs are listed on the album cover and the LP.  BUT, the songs were there too!  I played them!

So...either you're playing your record incorrectly somehow, or you have a valuable defected LP.  The answer's on your end.

Thanks for taking your time to ask me a question.

I am a HUGE fan who happened to soak up lots and lots of trivia on her way through Beatle land (I`ve been told I have Beatle radar), so I`m able to answer a question about almost anything!

I'm a professional music teacher, mainly in vocal music. My particular specialty would be questions on the music theory of the Beatles songs, or ending "who sang what" debates.
