QuestionHELP ME!!!!! my assignment on the beatles is due on
DECEMBER NINTH!!! I can't find ANYTHING on how they
affected society!!!! PLEASE ANSWER,
Hope-love everyone!!!
Answer Heya Hope -- The Beatles had influenced many facets during their short stay as a group. Music was the first and foremost, as the band had 4 different lead singers, and there was no standout lead individual with the band (although it is widely known that John was 'in charge', his lack of having self-confidence kept the band a working-man's band. The Beatles succumbed to the media spotlight early on, and they lost an edge as rockers. John Lennon had a type of a dyslexia where two words could come out wrong and he would have made new words (he loved playing with words as well, and enjoyed reading Lewis Caroll).
Ringo juxtaposed words as well, so many things he said came out silly -- Lennon loved this, and used it to titled songs such as "A Hard Days Night" and "Tomorrow Never Knows".
Fashion was also changed (hair and clothes dramatically). Media such as newsprint, radio and TV couldn't get enough of four young, good-looking men from an relatively unknown seaport in England who changed the world with their music, decisions, attitudes, styles and charm.
Hope, I am so sorry I couldn't respond to you yesterday -- I hope you received some good information from other experts here.
