Question
I have a Simon & Schuster book, copyright 1981, grey with John's photo on the cover, title, "The Writings of John Lennon In His Own Write A Spaniard in the Works"  The Introduction by Paul McCartney.  Paul signed the intro., the ink is blue.  ???Is that an original signature???  The book is approx. 5" X 7".  Just curious if it's the real deal.

Answer
Hiya Joyce,
I have the book also -- I am leaving for work right now, but I will write you later tonight when I return home. I'll look to see what I ave on my book.

Hi again Joyce. I just got my book and I too have Paul's signature in blue. Mine's a somewhat small book as well - I would guess either we're super lucky if he just hand signed two books in blue ink, or they're all like this. LOL My guess is veering toward the latter.

I hope this answered your question (albeit not the answer you were hoping for)

--Take care,
