Answer Hiya Linda,
It sounds as if you have an item that many Beatle fans would pay good money for.
I've been asked on appraising rare albums in the past. I cannot do so on this, but you could do it yourself. Take pictures of the album and cover (both sides of each), and bring the pictures to a couple music stores. If you have any stores that still sell abums or tapes, try and approach them. Rememeber to get to more than one store, because you may hear different prices. Don't take the album and/or its cover to these stores (Keep the prospective buyer curious). After you hear a solid number that you're content with, then display the item.
Also, try and attend a Beatlefest when it goes to your area. You will visit with many diehard fans there, and I'm sure you'll get offers at those conventions.
Linda, I wish you the best of luck with your your small treasure.
Take care,
Steve
