Beatles, The/ABBEY ROAD

Question
I was going thru a box of LP's that had not been opened in 15 plus years and
came across a Beatles Abbey Road LP.  It appears to be a bootleg perhaps from
Japan.  The record label is called "First".  Any thoughts?

Answer
There isn't a label called "First" that is authorized to publish any Beatle records and certainly not Abbey Road.  However, bootlegs of Beatle records are common in Japan.  It may be worth playing the LP to see if the record is truly Abbey Road.  I have some Japan Beatle bootlegs where many of the songs are mislabeled etc.. unfortunately, these don't carry much value but sometimes are nice compilations.
