Beatles, The/Beatles memorabilia

Question
I have a miniature photo album. It is slightly larger than a postage stamp and says The Beatles in gold lettering on the leather like cover. It is held closed with a snap and has a tiny ring in the corner (probably to go on a keychain). Inside are eleven black and white photos that fold out accordian style. Do you know anything about when these were produced? Also, does it have any collectible value? The photos look 63 or 64 ish. Thank you for your help!

Answer
Hi Grant! Yes, I'm familiar with this particular item. They came out in 1964. I'm not positive of the manufacturer (possibly Seltaeb), but they were originally released as a locket, which is why it has the tiny ring in the corner, to hold a chain. They were available in gray, brown, black, white and red. Mint condition, the current value is at about $125, but even in fair condition, you're looking at an item worth at least $75-$90. Hope this helped! 8^)

While I have no degree in "Beatleology", I probably could write a course on it!
