Beatles, The/White Album Vinyl anomally

Question
At a record show 14 or so years ago, I purchased a white vinyl purple label Capitol pressing of the White Album. The guy selling it was a former radio station worker(he claimed) and he had a lot of records with promo markings. This copy of the White Album also had a promo hole punched through it.
It has no Promo stamping, but the hole is approximately a half inch and it also partially went through the poster, but missed the glossies. A google search turned up nothing on this so I was wondering if this is a rare type of Promo. Any info would be helpful.

Answer
This would be considered a radio-play promo album.  Unfortunately, the hole punch takes away much of the value of the record.  It is likely a stereo version of the album without the the numbering on the front cover.  If that sounds right, it is likely worth about $40
