Please note that my expertise does *not* cover the value of Beatles memorabilia, except by using Google ... which I think you can do yourself. ;o)
I was born in England at the same time as the Beatles and, as a musician, I `grew up` musically with their ideas. In 1962, I asked a friend, who ran a local record store, how many of the first Beatles album she had ordered. "Two", she said. "Order twelve", I advised her, "you`ll need `em!".
So I feel able to answer most kinds of questions on the Fab Four and, if need be, I`ll happily search for the information on the Net, which I`m very experienced at using.
Experience
There was something in Paul's voice when he sang the phrase "Love Me Do" at the end of the verses that told me everything in Pop was going to change, and it did! I left my first band (which I had founded), partly because the other members thought I was a bit weird to want to change our style to reflect that of the Beatles! As a rock musician, I appeared with them in the ABC Theatre in Blackpool, England in 1963, and my songwriting has always been influenced by theirs.
