Hi Michael,
I read somewhere that the original location of the zebra crossing has now moved six feet to the east, ie nearer to the original photograhers position.  Is this true and what was the reason for this.

Hi Richie ,It has been moved slightly further east  , not that you would notice the difference ! Iain stood on a ladder near to the traffic island to get the perspective hence why most amateur shots don't look exactly the same as the original .
Some tourists make the mistake of going to the other zebra crossing further up the street thinking this is the correct place  , it is not ! Hope that helps  , have you been to the Abbey Road crossing itself  , if you need a guide please ask   , mike
