Sadly, I don't know the answer to this question, but what year was John's Christmas Edition of In His Own Write published?

Hi PJ!

"In His Own Write" was first released in the UK April 27, 1964. The Christmas edition (to the best of my knowledge) was issued that same year (in small quantities), so December of 1964. I don't think that edition was ever released in the states, just the UK. I personally have never seen a copy of the xmas edition, but it is a fact that it DOES exist. There were two additional drawings in the xmas addition, the one you have and this one:

I wish I had more information to give you, but there's just not much information out there about it. There are a few people in Liverpool I can contact about it. I'll do that and see if I find any more leads.
