Question

I Am the Walrus label
Hi Pattie. Scott from Fort Worth,Texas. I have an original release of Hello Goodbye/I Am The Walrus, yellow and orange swirlie, but the label says I Am The Walrus on both sides.(One of them does play Hello Goodbye)Tough to find a value on this. Any idea where to look?
Thanks very much,Scott

Answer
Hi Scott!

Label errors are not as infrequent as a lot of people think. For most mis-labeled records, the value goes up slightly (if it's a "collectible" artist), but in the case of the Beatles, it goes much higher. Actually, I no longer do online appraisals, but I think it's safe to say that your 45, which seems to be in decent shape would probably fetch you around $20-$25. You may also want to check any local used record store to see what they have to say about it. If you're trying to sell it though, a record dealer will NOT give you what it's worth. To sell, you're better off doing it yourself on eBay or another online source. Thanks for the question!

Peace,
Pattie

While I have no degree in "Beatleology", I probably could write a course on it!
