Question
Three days ago I asked Sarah this question and she wrote me a rude reply and said she had already answered this question for me...it was not me she answered...I had never used this site before or EVER asked this question to ANYONE before.  I hope you can give me an answer and I know you will not be rude.  Thank you! My question was ..."I have a double album of the Beatles. It is a 1977 Capital double album of  "Love Songs The Beatles" It is in good to great condition and it includes a large paper insert of the words to every song written in calligraphy.  Do you have an estimate of its worth? And is it a highly collectible album?

Answer
Yes - I am very familiar with that record and I happen to have one myself.  It is the one with the brown, faux leather cover and the gold stamp of the faces of the Beatles.  The same stamp should be in the inside record sleeves along with names of the tracks on each record.  The book with the calligraphy is what is usually missing from these.  So assuming you have a complete package- this is a legitimate Capitol release which while not highly collectible, nevertheless hasn't been reproduced legally on CD.  This record would sell for around $25 - $75 depending on the condition.  Hope that helps!
