Question
Recently i was told about 3 Beatles bootleg records from Australia 1) A  Knights Hard Day 2)F**K 3)Broad Road (beatles walking in wrong direction). Bootlegs of A Hard Days Night, Help, and Abbey Road. From 60's or 70's, a fella from New Zealand, made them in Aust, got caught?,supposedly changed laws so no more got made. Some got made and released, so the story goes. Have you ever heard of this?,freinds have seen them, and would they be worth anything? Cheers Peter

Answer
I'm not sure that they are from Australia and as far as bootlegs go, they are fairly common.  I don't have A Knight's Hard Day but I believe it might be live material.  F**K is more collectible in just the cover of the album with them a la the HELP album albeit with just scarfs over their privates.  Broad Road is the best of the bunch with some genuine outtakes and covering through just about every song on the Abbey Road album.
Unfortunately, bootlegs aren't worth much as there is no way to track where they were made, when, how many released etc.. as they are unauthorized and therefore subject to duplication at a low cost.  Generally, these albums, depending on condition could fetch a range of ~$10-40 each.
Hope that helps!
