AnswerHello, these are the answers:
- Ringo felt insecure because for sometime (1967-1970) he thought he was not a clever drummer. It is true that Paul could play drums as him, and he sometimes put himself as the teacher, which made Ringo upset about it. Not only, during that period Ringo was experiencing alcohol and drugs and his marriage was failing, so he was not the happiest person ever.
- Geroge Martin thought that the White Album should be only 1 album, for a marketing point of view, and also because he felt that some tracks weren't so good. Paul and John insisted in having a double album. Their ego during that years was very big! :-)
- The Apple boutique closed down because they were losing money everyday. John once said that they experienced the real communism, as a matter of fact they were not doing money! At the time someone reminded that there were people who entered the boutique and went home with a lot of dresses without paying ...
- Hey Jude was written by Paul for Julian Lennon to comfort John Lennon's son during his parents' divorce. Paul often recalls that when he sings the phrase "the movement you need is on your shoulder" he gets emotional. McCartney wasn't sure of that line but Lennon told him: "That's the best line in the song." McCartney thus left the line in, and later said "...when I play that song, that's the line when I think of John, and sometimes I get a little emotional during that moment."
- This is a difficult question ... In 1969 Lennon left the band secretly, that's the most important clue.
- If you are referring to the Let It Be session, well I think that Paul and George argue on some arrangements to be done on the song "what a feeling"
Hope this helps.
