Question
How was Paul McCartney like at school? I read that he was very clever, but did he like school? And did he have any punishments or detentions or canings or anything like that? Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!

Answer
Dear Flurry,

Paul McCartney was very clever at school, he also won a prize for a schoolboy essay praising 'our lovely, young Queen', the soon-to-be-crowned Elizabeth II.
And he did like the school, he said that if he weren't with the Beatles he would became a literature teacher, because he was fond of books.
As far as we know he didn't have any punishment or canings...

Best,
Sara
