Beatles, The/Beatles White Album

Question
Hello,

I have number of Beatles records and I am not sure how to go about valuing them.  The fist one is The White album with the serial number 0001641, it is in excellent condition and includes the poster and 4 colour photographs however both the sleeves do have a slight tear in them.  The other album I am interested in is Sgt Pepper with a pristine cover and red a white sleeve and an insert which has not been cut out.  Both of them are Mono.  I have several other first print Beatles records all in a similar condition.  Would you recommend using eBay or trying to find a specialist shop to buy them?

Answer
Those are great records!  I would recommend using eBay as that is an open market where you are more likely to get a fair price.  A specialist shop would be looking to make a profit in reselling them rather than collecting them, so you would be more likely to get less than full market value.
