Hi Chalk!
I know the Beatles influenced a lot young people (their hair, their clothes, the music they listened to,John Lennon's political ideas..)
But, I'd like to know how did they influence the rest of the society (old people, politicians, music bands..)?

I don't think they influenced old people in any way, except to say that their music was gradually accepted by all ages and classes of people as time passed by.

They influenced politicians enough to have their achievements (i.e. export revenue from their royalties!) recognised by the Government and awarded the British honour, an MBE: http://thebeatles.com/#/article/Honoured_with_an_MBE
