Beatles, The/Beatles white album

Question
I was reading about the young lad asking about the serial numbers for the White album and Mike answered about a number used to tell if it was made in the U.S.A. Its just that i recently purchased a White album and was told it might be worth something. It has the same numbers on the record as described by Mike but no numbers on the front of the album. So i was wondering if it was one or not? Any information would be great.

Kind regards Kieran sweeney.

Answer
Hi, Kieran,

I'm sorry, but I can't help you with your question and, as my Profile says, I don't do valuations. I'm better at answering questions on Beatles songs, etc. rather than details of record covers they released. Perhaps you would like to ask another expert?

My apologies & best wishes,

Chalk.

P.S. Here's a Wiki page on the album - it may help you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles_%28album%29

Experience

There was something in Paul's voice when he sang the phrase "Love Me Do" at the end of the verses that told me everything in Pop was going to change, and it did! I left my first band (which I had founded), partly because the other members thought I was a bit weird to want to change our style to reflect that of the Beatles! As a rock musician, I appeared with them in the ABC Theatre in Blackpool, England in 1963, and my songwriting has always been influenced by theirs.
