Question
I was just wondering: what sort of things did John enjoy doing as a child or
young teenager? I know he liked to read and draw, among other things, but do you
know about any sports, other hobbies, etc? I know your expertise is in music theory, but I just thought I'd ask. Thank you

I can't think of anything off the top of my head in specifics, but I know what can help you.

A few months ago, I finally got around to reading "John Lennon: The Life" by Philip Norman.  It came out in 2008, and does go into quite a bit of detail about John's early life.  There are a few details that were inaccurate that I can't even remember right now, and a bit of the book is a little bit tmi even for me, but I do remember it talking a lot about what John liked to do as a kid, like playing cowboys and indians, that kind of stuff.

So for that, I'll recommend checking that book out.
