Question
Hi there Michael, I'm a Beatle Expert too here at allexperts, but I need your help.
I didn't buy, when it was first released, the cd issue of The Beatles 1962-66 double album.
Would you please tell me if in its first release (i think it was 1993) the cd front and back covers was totally equal to the vynil issue, so to say the front cover showing the similar Please please me photo cover and the back cover showing the 1969 photo (that should have been used for the Get back Lp)?
Anyway are the two photos reported in the booklet and in which way?
If it's not annoying can you send me a pic showing the two images simultaneously?
Thanks so much in advance (and pardon my English)
Nick

Answer
Hi Nick , I am not an expert on CD but think it was done in the same way as the vinyl lp  , with 1963 and 1969 photos .
The 1963 photo used on the 1962-66 album is a different take to the original Please Please Me album . Photo was taken at the now demolished 25 Manchester Square  , EMI office in London  . Sorry I couldn't help more , thanks
