Question
I believe I have a 1st US pressing of this lp...however there is no number by the RIAA seal. Should there be? This is factory sealed, so I only have limited info. Thank you

There doesn't have to be a nummber by the RIAA seal.  Assuming it is a Stereo pressing, the number would be Capitol st2442.  It is difficult to ensure a 1st pressing based on cover alone since there is no way to verify rainbow label etc.. however, a first US pressing of Rubber Soul in NM/M condition will fetch about $60-$70.
