Question
Hello. I was wondering if you know what musicians or forms of music infulenced the Beatles music in the early and later years of their career. If you could give me an answer that would be great. Thanks!

Answer
Hi, Jennifer, and thanks for your question.

According to the Beatles Anthology, the Beatles' roots go way back to old rock 'n roll and blues of the 50's, ranging from Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, and Buddy Holly. Later on they were greatly influenced by Bob Dylan. I hope that I answered your question. Again, thanks, and long live the Beatles.

Expertise

I have a somewhat elaborate knowledge of the band`s music and history, from their Hamburg beginnings to their demise in 1970, as well as secondary information from the post-Beatle years.

Experience

I can answer most questions about the Beatles themselves and their albums, as well as some information about the post-Beatle years. I do NOT, however, specialize in concert dates or Beatle memoribilia (i.e. special collector's items, etc.).
