Question
Thanks for any help. Could you tell me if a certain album has some real value. It is... With the Beatles. Made in Great Britain has a 1963 date . Has a yellow and black label and has 14 songs. Number is P.C.S. 3045. The reason I am wondering is that on the corner of the album it says something to the effect that the album has to be played on certain type of musical device or machine. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Cathie

Answer
Hiya Cathie
When it comes to ANY oddity, I personally take a positive stance. Your album may had been the guide album - It is colored slightly different, and gives instructions on what to play the record on!
I recently had a past question who had oddities with his album. I mentioned he should travel to many different record stores - See what the managers say, then decide what he should do afterward. Cathie, I'd say the same with you as well: Go to a few different stores - Don't mention to the other managers you've been 'shopping', but just hear them out first. Some may just tell you it really doesn't have much value (they may be right), but some others may give a little $ your way for it. Hear everyone you go to first, then make your decision. I wouldn't handle the album or the cover too much because you may damage them. Cathie, it sounds like you have a rarity already - I don't know how rare, but I hope you become happy with the words you receive!

I can answer mostly anything concerning The Beatles. I`ve read many of the stories, and can give you a tidbit or two on virtually every song they produced.

Experience

Many years of reading books on them, much bootlg material I have purchased and/or received from them, and a pure enjoyment of learning about them.
