Question
I heard it on Muzak, a business playing upbeat 70's hits?  Sounded like the Beatles, Ringo singing, good beat, catchy lyrics, I knew the song instantly, easy to sing to, has the word 'summertime or summer' in it.  Told myself to write it down so when I searched for it I wouldn't get 'Mungo Jerry'.  I looked at the Beatles but can't find it.  Must be a band that sounds like the Beatles.  Any idea?

Hello, and thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, I can't think of the song you're describing. It must not be a Beatles song because I'm familiar with pretty much everything they ever made, so my only conclusion is that it must have been some obscure Ringo solo song. Unlike the Beatles, I'm not familiar at all with Ringo's solo recordings, so I don't think I'd  be much of a help there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you find out let me know. Thanks.
