Beatles, The/Hessy's signs

Question
Hi there:
I've recently come across some memorabilia from Hessy's Music (Liverpool).  Would some old signage from this store be of any value?  The owner claims to have a certificate of authenticity, and it appears to be in relatively good condition.
Thanks for your time and response.

Answer
Hi, Rik,

I think the answer is YES!

Go to this URL (copy/paste it into your browser Address box) & check out all the links there: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=beatles+memorabilia&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7...

I'll also refer you to my reply to Brett on May 25, 2005 - this is at http://www.allexperts.com/answerq.asp?QuestionID=4016777&ExpertID=48128 but if you can't find it, here's his question & what I said:-

"Hi Chalk,
I have been fortunate enough to come across page two of an original contract signed by all 4. I am trying to find page 1 to determine what type of contract it is. (Etc...)

Hi, Brett,

You're probably in possession of a fairly valuable piece of memorabilia, so be careful with it. Lots of people are tempted to sell this sort of thing on eBay - nothing wrong with that, but you should have it verified first, which is what you're trying to do. (I'm not suggesting that you want to sell it, by the way).

Sorry, but I can't help you at all with your question in detail, i.e. what the first page might be, but I will say that there are companies who do this kind of verification professionally. But beware of sharks!

I've been to Google for you to get you started. Try searching - not only in Google - with this search term: "verification Beatles memorabilia" or variations of it."

Hope this helps,

Chalk.

There was something in Paul's voice when he sang the phrase "Love Me Do" at the end of the verses that told me everything in Pop was going to change, and it did! I left my first band (which I had founded), partly because the other members thought I was a bit weird to want to change our style to reflect that of the Beatles! As a rock musician, I appeared with them in the ABC Theatre in Blackpool, England in 1963, and my songwriting has always been influenced by theirs.
