Hi Michael!
I recently came across this on YouTube:

The guy is claiming this is a verified Beatles bootleg... however, to me it sounds like a bad John Lennon impersonation. Have you ever heard of Too Much Potatoes?

Your conclusion is correct. John Lennon has never written or performed a song called "Too Much Potatoes." The recording on YouTube is a parody/impersonation. More information for bootlegs can be found on http://www.bootlegzone.com/beatleg/ubl-base.php The site is regularly updated and extremely complete. You can also search for songs by keyword and see which bootlegs might feature them. Sure enough, no potatoes.
