Beatles, The/Strawberry Fields guitar

Question
Hi, do you know what guitar was used on the Strawberry Fields Forever recording?

Cheers

Answer
Heya Ben
I'm not sure what guitar George used, however, he drowns the sound on his instrument, ala Ringo does with the 'pudding sound' he originates (He used cloths to dampen the crisp sound his drums would make - Charlie Watts and Alan White copied this later in years).
"Strawberry Fields..." is in two different keys. I thought the song starts in an "A" and goes in Em7 at the end of "...Cause I'm going to...", then to F#7 at the start of "Nothing Is real" - A "D" transitions to an F#7 with the line "And nothing to get hung about" - "D" to "A" for the line "Strawberry Fields Forever".
Good luck Ben. I hope this partially answers something about your q.
