Question
I suppose we're about the same age. I was 14 when the Beatles arrived on the scene. I'm very informed on the subject of beatles, but as usual, there are still the odd questions. One that has puzzled me is the song 'I don't suppose' by Keith Moon. It's understood to be a Lennon song, but is there any truth in it? Do you have any info on this to reassure this claim? Also, how am I to join this Q&A  page as an advisor

Answer
Hi, Bob,

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I'm away from home at the moment.

I've never heard of the Keith Moon song - I can't help with that except to suggest googling. I have tried searching via "I don't suppose" Keith Moon, but no luck.

Experience

There was something in Paul's voice when he sang the phrase "Love Me Do" at the end of the verses that told me everything in Pop was going to change, and it did! I left my first band (which I had founded), partly because the other members thought I was a bit weird to want to change our style to reflect that of the Beatles! As a rock musician, I appeared with them in the ABC Theatre in Blackpool, England in 1963, and my songwriting has always been influenced by theirs.
