Hi, I have a white album with the number on the front No.024 however it doesnt seem to be in the same format as the normal numbering system. The cover is side opening and is made of a thick cardboard. Its on an apple label and it has no year on it, however it does have 'made in england' across the middle. I cannot find any trace of it within the rare record price guide.
I have got this off a friend who's wife recieved it as a give away outside Apple studios as did a number of other people?
Can you in any way shed some light on the situation?

Sounds like a USA original copy , the UK ones are in Mono or Stereo and State SOLD IN UK on the label . The number is confusing as they are usually a string of numbers , eg 0000024 , if this was the case it would be a very low number and very rare  . Without seeing a scan of the cover and record label it would be difficult to assess  , if you want to email me a picture that would help , thanks
