i cant find the name of a song one of the lines in the song goes the two of us giong nowere something something were on our way home. were on our way home

The song you are thinking of is most definitely "Two of Us" off of 1970's Let it Be album. It's also on the recent remastered version, Let it Be...Naked, but I prefer the original ;)
