Question
Hi and thank you for your anticipated co-operation in researching this topic.I need to know who sang the lead vocals in EVERY Beatle song on EVERY Beatle album. The internet is not as co-operative and specific as I would like.

Answer
Hello, Amy,

This question is vast, and I'd need to listen to all my Beatles tracks to give you exactly the right answers. Obviously, that's out of the question.

Here's a good hint as to how you can do it yourself: http://experts.about.com/q/Beatles-386/sang.htm - do remember though, after you've read that, that John sometimes wrote the Middle 8 part of a song AND sang it, so in some tracks there is more than one main vocalist.

This site will no doubt help you too: http://www.iamthebeatles.com/ - there's a lot to read there, but it's FULL of info.

I did my main search from http://www.google.be/search?hl=en&q=Beatles+who+sang+which+song&btnG=Search&meta...

Hope this helps you to research further.

Regards,

Chalk.

There was something in Paul's voice when he sang the phrase "Love Me Do" at the end of the verses that told me everything in Pop was going to change, and it did! I left my first band (which I had founded), partly because the other members thought I was a bit weird to want to change our style to reflect that of the Beatles! As a rock musician, I appeared with them in the ABC Theatre in Blackpool, England in 1963, and my songwriting has always been influenced by theirs.
