Question
Hey Nick. I was wondering how much info you have about "When I'm 64." I've been trying to figure out the clarinet line for a couple weeks and it's not going too bad. Could you help me out with the key it's in for clarinet... or in general even?

first of all sorry for the delay in my answer but I had no Internet connection in the last two days.
As for your question, I think it's a bit a problem to figure out which was the key of the song, mostly because the song has been speeded up after the recording of the basic intruments (reading Mark Lewinsohn's book "The Beatles Recording Session" it was to give to Paul's voice a younger sound as if it was a teenager thinking at the time he would be 64). Anyway this was a habit of Beatles' recording attitude in that period.
So I can't tell you which is the right key. Maybe Bb which should be the key of saxophone and clarinet? (I don't really know I play guitar and bass...)
