About Erronoeous Fisherman
Expertise
I specialize in Beckist recordings. As a matter of fact, I, myself, personally, am a Beckist. I enjoy helping those who are just beginning in their path to a Beckian existence and understanding. It is only by pursuing such ends (those of the Bekkah), that we may all bask in the cosmic rush, the immense radiance, the celestial glow, the vast space of brilliant warmth that we can begin to grow, to meet our full potential as human beings, to cast away all that has ever come before and live a pure life of devotion to pop star fanaticism, idolatry, and general fervor for the corporate invasion, plundering, and saturation of our minds, spirits, intellects, and noggins. I can answer your questions, for I am a true believer and make tapes that spread the sound, words, sonic profusion, oral emanations, and lyrical mischievery of the messiah, savior, redeemer, rescuer, and lord, only and only, seen and seen and seen.

Beck - Steripathetic Soulmanure

Expert: Erronoeous Fisherman - 11/7/2002

Question
Hello.
I live in Israel, and I really love Beck's music. As such, I used to have all of his CD's except for "One Foot in the Grave" and "Stereopathetic Soulmanure", which weren't available here. Eventually, I got a copy of "One Foot" with the help of a friend who was at the USA. A few months ago, I discovered that Tower Records in Israel started importing these two CD's, so I bought the other one too. As usual, I inserted it into my computer CD-rom and waited for the track names to download. Then something weird happened. Seems that starting from one point, the names of the songs do not match the songs. For example, the song "Ozzy" (which I knew before) is written as number 18, but on my CD it's number 21. The back cover says exactly like my Media player does.
Why is that? Is there something wrong with my CD?

Thank you, and have a good day!

hey noaya,

im not sure if all copies of stereopathetic soulmanure are like that or not, but i can tell you that it is not uncommon for the tracklisting to be off.  the copy i have is like that as is the copy at the radio station i work at.  so there is nothing wrong with your cd.  hope that helps.
