i have a recording called "it's all in your mind."
i got it off morpheus, and the description was from "the banjo sessions."

what are the banjo sessions?  i looked them up on google, and found nothing.

where can i find more recordings in the same light, i.e., acoustic, alternate tunings, harmonica...

i think "together we found misery" was also on it.

any direction would be much appreciated.

You got some bad info.  "The Banjo Sessions" don't exist as far as I know.  "It's All In Your Mind" is from the "It's All In Your Mind" 7" (see Beck.com discography).  There is an old Beck demo called "Banjo Story," but "It's All In Your Mind" isn't on it.  

Go buy (yes BUY) "One Foot In The Grave" for more songs like that.  It would be right up your ally.
