Question
we have a big problem with wasps and a bee that looks like a wasp with yellow strips(not hairy). We live on a wooded piece of ground and have a big stone wall on each side of our drive way where we park the car. I`m not sure, but the bees seem to be coming out of the stone wall. They are also building nests on our eaves of the house. The bees seem to be everywhere. I have 4 small children and they have already been biten. I want to know how to get rid of these bees. Can you help?

Answer
Dear Karen,
It seems you may have 2 problems (1) Bees in the stone wall and (2) Wasps on the eaves.
Regarding (1) Bees. - As it becomes dark bees return to the hive located in the stone wall and you should be able to see their entrance. If this is confirmed, only one entrance, then you could protect yourself, Head, Face and Hands as well as the Body, if you are non-allergic to Bee venom, then spray an insect killer into the entrance and quickly plug up the hole.
If you are allergic, leave them well alone , and contact a Pest Controller, who is the only answer to (2) Wasps.
