Question
I am going to make a beer cheese soup which calls for "Stale Beer" How do I get beer stale?
Thanks.

Answer
I would assume that "stale beer" means beer that's been sitting out until it is flat (no fizz).  Maybe they don't want you pouring fizzy beer into the soup, where it'll cause it to boil over?  Anyway, pouring the beer back and forth between two containers a few times should get rid of most of the fizz.
